personally, i think that if that you can get the same configarations as a macbook for so much cheaper, and you could deff save some buck by not choosing the mac. granded it has a "prettier" outlook but you shouldnt be buying a laptop for astectic purposes. if you want to upgrade, try buying a sony vaio, they are decent priced and have a nice outlook to them as well.

dont buy a macbook based on the commericals or something, about how it "comes" with everything and appls and itunes or something, and if you are a law student i bet you can find the appls you need from dc or something..it takes like 5min to dl the appl you need.

also if you are in lawschool you prllly have to hand it papers and stuff via email or something, caz i have to do that all the time and sometimes ur apple doc might not work in the prof's pc or something than you are screwed.

yea macs can run windows if u need to. os x does not get viruses or other bad stuf pc's are plagued with. go to an apple store and try 1 out. its small and comes with a ton of features like built in webcam, and frontrow with an apple remote.

No. Instead, you should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
