There have been hundreds of people who have claimed to be able to move things with their minds. All of those who claim to have that ability strangely lose said ability in a controlled environment. In addition, magicians have been able to perform the exact same tasks through the admitted use of elements of illusion and trickery. So if things can be moved using deception and at the same time those who claim to have this ability are unable to perform these tasks in a controlled environment, what sort of conclusion would any sane person come to?
For those who truly believe humans are capable of moving things without touching them (and defying basic physical laws of the universe), what mechanism is causing the movement? If someone claims that we are capable of something but offers no evidence or even testable theory to explain it, then it's nothing more than theoretical mental masturbation. All that person is doing is saying, "Wouldn't it be neat if...."

From what I've read on the subject telekinesis does exist. Of course there are those who don't believe in it because in our day and age the only people who perform anything close to telekinesis are illusionists and no one believes that to be real.
The thing is that we only use a small percentage of our brains throughout our lives. We have no idea what the rest of our own minds are capable of so it is very possible that we can, in fact, move things with our minds if we unlock those parts of our brains. The problem lies within the very thing called human evolution.
It is believed by some that our ancestors who lived back in the very ancient times, possessed these abilities. Several authors of the books that I've read even go as far as to say that that is how things such as the great pyramids were built. Humans back then had strong control over their minds and therefore could make large, heavy objects weightless and move them around. Personally I think that is a far better explanation than the scientists who are telling everyone that the pyramids were built by slaves who dragged those bricks around all day. For one thing the stones are set so closely together that you wouldn't even be able to slide a card between them, and for another one of those bricks cannot be lifted by modern technology, let alone a group of tired, hungry, heat exhausted slaves.
It is further believed that as the years progressed and technology emerged, taking us to the modern times, our brain processes changed as well. With all of the technology around us it started becoming a problem for us to develop that part of our mind that can achieve things like telekinesis. Children these days are in no way encouraged developing this. If they say that they saw something in the dark they're told that they had a dream and over time learn not to believe the paranormal and start believing it to be a thing of fairy tales. This locks off the part of the mind with the powers, that would otherwise have developed over time, and prevents people from achieving things like telekinesis, levitation even. Therefore science has deemed this to be something for the sci-fi channel and nothing more. Even if someone does achieve it we will all look at it and go "That's probably another illusion to trick us" and won't give it a second thought. Even those who really do believe in things like telekinesis will find themselves questioning demonstrations like that. If we gave this study a bit more attention and stopped doubting it so much then we could really get to the truth of whether it exists. I believe it does. Every living thing has a force field that surrounds it and there is more to energy in this world than a lit light bulb on the ceiling. We just have to stop doubting these things. People thought that the earth was flat one point too. You'd think scientists would learn....

No. No one has ever demonstrated telekinesis in controlled circumstances. Any demonstration of telekinesis to date has been either a fake or self-delusion.
And, it is highly unlikely from a biological point of view that such a power could exist. Our brains are the product of evolution, and there is no reason for an ability that is weak, undetectable and physically unlikely to occur.

No. I really don't believe in Telekinesis. Nobody can move things with his mind.

Yes I do believe that it may be possible.
Here is a link to some very interesting information on the subject http://www.psipog.net/cat-psychokinesis.html
they even tell you how to make a Psi-wheel to practice telekinesis. (I have found this site very informative I hope this helps to answer your question)

Yes, but I also believe that it is very rare due to the inability of most humans to stop being hateful and downgrading to others to focus on their own self-improvement long enough to evolve mentally.
The rest of us are then 'clogged' by all the residual crap left by those people that we have to spend too much time cleaning that off that we don't have TIME to get there mentally.
So logically, if you could find somebody who's been sheltered from the onslaught of humanity and still been privileged enough to receive such education the odds are in your favor of getting some action.

Telekinesis is an illusionists trick. It is only possible to perform if you understand that it is an illusion. If you want to know how it is done, intern with a professional magician.

You might want to look at Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research.
http://www.princeton.edu/~pear/
They have spent 27 years demonstrating small but consistent effects on machines (random number generators, etc.) from human intentions.
While the work is certainly not without it's critics it might be a good place to start.

maybe, our brain and our emotions specifically are much more powerful than we are aware of! If we channeled our full concentration on moving an object, I think we are capable of doing so. Though being bound within the laws of nature, it is hard for us to do this, but its not impossible.

From my understand if we had full use of our brain instead of what we use now, then we would be able to move things with our mind. But beyond that, unless I see it in person, many times on a item of my choice, in an environment of my choice, and they do it over and over and over again. I will, then, believe it can be done. Until that time, I will only consider it staged or television magic.
