Moving halfway across the country to an ultra-rural community. ;oD
It's more of a declaration of autonomy- and the ability to control certain variables.

Truthfully, I will tempt them into making contact with me and we'll act civil for a little while. Another round of fight and I will squash them like ants and it's great to say that THEY'll go to great lengths to avoid me.
I sound mean but I only do this when the person deserves it.

Wow...am I seeing a trend here? lol umm..I usually just avoid people I don't want in my life anymore. Now, if I had to deal with an obsessive, dangerous stalker, I'd probably move.

no great lengths... I am pretty straight forward and make it very clear when I don't want someone in my life. Trust me, they go away

I moved, married, changed my name (took his, of course)
I stay out of her immediate area, and places I know she goes.
She's my mother, in the biological sense. We have not spoken since September 1994, she isn't looking for me, I know that.
I will move heaven and earth not to have the confrontation which will occur if we ever cross paths again, she'd be caught completely unaware.

I wouldn't go to extremely great lenghts. I'd block the person on my phone, myspace, and im, but if I ran into the person the street, I wouldn't care.

I ususally just tell the person if I don't want them in my life anymore...
If they don't get it...or don't leave me alone...I'll ignore and avoid like no other.

i'd avoid him completely!!never talk to him again!no phone calls,no e-mails,if i see him in the street,i'll go the other way!if he talks to me,i'll walk away without saying a single word!

I moved to another state..It has worked for me. Haven't seen that person since.
