What race, ethnic or religious minority is the US targeting for extinction? Terrorists do not qualify as a minority group.

The problem with this statement is that it leaves out the possibility of there actually being an enemy. We Americans over the course of the last 50 years or so have stuck our nose into every ones business. Now we have enemies made up of those we helped squash years ago. You are acting as if scapegoat and enemy are the same thing. Fascist states create enemies out of scapegoats. What I see in this country is that the apologists are acting like the enemy is actually a scapegoat. It also doesn't help that Bush's cronies can't tell the difference between a radical Muslim and a person of Muslim faith.

Uhhh... No. While their is significant scholarly debate as to the "exact" definition of fascism, a key component universally agreed upon is totalitarianism. Thankfully we aren't anywhere near that state of affairs and won't likely ever be, Patriot Act & domestic surveillance be damned.
The political pendulum continues to swing. We are coming off a swing to the right currently but in a few years we'll peak on the left and start another swing towards the right. It's simply the way of things in an open and free society as the electorate gets pissed with the status quo and forces change.

It is a forced upon us early election season. As if President Bush was running. But Republicans are. VS a Clinton. AGAIN.
Communism is not unifying rather divide and conquer. That is what we see now. Who cared b4 9-11 and now how vulnerable we stand. Atleast Bush went "Nads" out and did something despite low popularity polls.

Fascism is a state in which the government OWNS the 'retail stores', thus controls the movement of all goods and services.
It is usually headed by a single person or a very small group and policies are made and implemented without input from the populace at large.
The U.S.A. is not a fascist country, nor is it yet a socialist country. Currently, the U.S.A. is a democratic republic whose elected representatives are accountable to the electorate AS WE JUST PROVED WITH THE AMNESTY BILL.

Like the human rights issue, this is seen in pockets. It is not valid to suggest the Republicans are scape-goating radical Islam, when radical Islam is producing the terrorists.
Similarly, it is not valid for Liberals to scape-goat Christians when an extreme few are radical enough to kill for their religion.
Freedom of religion is the solution, not curtailments on rights.

You know, I've called liberals many things, but even associating them with terrorists has not been among them. (Although, good point.) At any rate, every nation has enemies. You need not look further than the new unification alliance between Iran and Venezuela for proof. Are you classing us with those two banana republics?

what you've described is common in every culture on the planet whether advanced or primitive. its part of being human. just as your not putting conservative in your common threat category reveals your blatant prejudice against another group which is another basic human emotion.
