Where I work, we use the point system. You get one point for each day you call off, and 6 points get you fired.

If we feel that we are too ill to work they still point us, even if we bring in a note from a doctor saying that we shouldn't have worked that day.

This is a resturant that I'm talking about, so when I tell the manager that I'm throwing up every few minutes, I don't think I should even be allowed near food.

Can anyone give me websites or phone numbers that can help me LEGALLY prove my point. I don't want you to just say "Oh dude, that sucks" I want real information to show my employer just to let him know that I know we're being taken advantage of.

You can be fired at any time. YOur employer has the right to terminate any employee for any reason that does not violate discrimation laws.

I work for a disability insurance company. These people have cancer, broken legs, etc and cannot work and they still get terminiated if they go over company policy

You did not say what state, that is REALLY going to affect the answer. That being said, federal law requires that your employer post the federal and state labor laws somewhere where you can read them. Start be reading those. Many times there will be websites listed on these posters for the state where you live.
