when i try to turn the volume up the screen says avls
and wont get any louder
but most of the time its 2 quiet and i cant even hear it because
im in a place where theres lots of noise
i was wondering if anyone could help me out

If it is very noisy, increasing the volume to drown out the noise actually is very harmful to your hearing. I would suggest you look into some noise cancelling earphones. Although they do not cancel out all of the noise, many of them do a good enough job that you will be able to enjoy your music without having to turn up the volume too high.

what i would try doing is putting in new batteries or just take it to radioshack and ask them for help on your cd player and tell them the problem that should help you with all your problems
