I'm asking this for my little brother. Is godzilla a boy or girl? He was so annoyed when I said godzilla was neather but he insisted it was a girl. Can anyone explain to him Godzilla is neather?

I beleive Godzilla is generless. Although there have been offspring of Godzilla I think this is due to the fact that like some frogs, Godzilla is asexual and can self reproduce.

...depending upon how old your little brother is, and his ability to comprehend something complex and philosophical, it might be interesting to know that Godzilla is reported to be a force of nature, and the organic representation of the monstrous and disastrous results of atomic testing, and the horrific aftermath of atomic bombing. This is what director Ishiro Honda envisioned, when he flew over the wide-spread damage of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

...as far as Godzilla being a 'he' or 'she', that would be considerably more difficult to explain; he DID have a son, but Godzilla's sexual connotation was never really explored, until the American remake, where he was revealed to assexual.

Good luck on this...
