The race for employment starts right after Halloween so, say Nov. 1st. You don't necessarily start work then but it's good to get hired.

Your thinking really really early here. But the biggest shopping day of the year is the day after Thanksgiving. So I would think they start to look in the beginning of November maybe the end of October.
