She's not actually trying to trash the nest really, she's showing off in front of the male. Try adding some floating plants to the tank so she doesn't break up the nest in her efforts.

Also, it's worth asking, but are you completely sure you have a female and not a young, short finned male?

Sometimes females get excited and does that accidentally, try putting a nest anchor, like half a styropor cup, or a floating plant, this will help keep the bubble nest intact. Don't remove the female just yet, leave her with the male for a few days or after they have spawned. It is also a good time for you to start an infusoria culture, (if you haven't yet) this way you are sure to have some first food when the eggs hatch and fry free swimming.

GOOD LUCK!!!

you may desire to be doing prevalent water transformations weekly with a tank with clear out, daily if the undesirable sod is in a bowl. Betta's build bubble nests, that's what they do. in case you do unlike staring at them then you certainly should not be keeping a Betta.

I think it's best to put the female in before hes built the nest, so you find out if they are actually happy together. For better betta results you could let the male pick which female he likes best out of a few. If a female betta is not happy with a nest, she can often destoy it. Make sure the temperature is about 27C and you have been feeding them on rich foods. I'm only 11, so a bit of a novice, but good luck.
