If you have a heath condition it doesn't matter how old you are. But normally that's way too young. Plus if you do not have at least two kids, no doctor in their right mind would do it if you are perfectly healthy. You're only 24. What if you meet someone, get married, and want kids?

yes you are old enough but you may have a hard time finding some one to do it for you. They ususally dont' like doing a hysterectomy to someone so young that doesn't have kids.

if someone needs hysterectomy it doesnt matter if the patient is 20 years old or 60 y/o. Its a very invasive procedure which will only be done if needed , for example if a patient has extensive endometrial cancer. if the patient bleeds a lot then it should be done regardless of patient's age.

Yeah it is regularly occurring (for the boy to compliment that). uncertain how oftentimes it happens. i used to be a 15 365 days-old boy and that i keep in mind that i replaced into quite attractive for all time. And 24 does not be seen too old. in spite of the fact that finding lower back now, i'm chuffed not something like that got here approximately to me. i'm chuffed to have lost my virginity at sixteen to my lady buddy who replaced right into a sixteen 365 days-old virgin too. not something would desire to be greater proper than that. And it is not purely boys. I undergo in recommendations a woman in my intense college began courting a instructor there. they're now married! in spite of the fact that he had to pass away the school while they found out.

That's usually a last resort for most doctors when you have a medical condition. If you just don't want to bother with the possibility of having kids, your insurance won't cover it so it'll be terribly expensive.
Either way, there are lots of other alternatives to being gutted like a fish

do you want a hysterectomy?
do you need one?
or are you just against having kids?
if you want to be sterile, a tubal ligation is easier, safer, healthier and cheaper...

why would anyone be getting a hysterectomy at 24?

Unless your life or health were at risk, I don't think you could get it done that soon. If you already have five kids, and are done having children, then consider getting your tubes tied, or have your husband get a vasectomy.

yes you are old enough to have one. why would you want one or why would your doc recommend one ? you seem to be young and in the childbearing years you might want a family in five to ten years. so maybe best to keep your options open ?

Yes, but that is not something you do without a medical reason, such as cancer. It's not generally considered an elective procedure.
