I certainly think it was a slap in the face to his opponents. Your first answerer said it was stupid. I don't see any evidence to back that assertion up, it was indeed brilliant for a lame duck President to assert his power in the face of great opposition.

It was interesting that the three judges that presided, two were from Rep. presidents, so the liberal injustice should be GOP injustice.

Bush has the right to do this, so he did nothing wrong legally, I'm not sure politically it was the right thing to do, so no it was not sassy.

On the person who put the Clinton pardons, he did not more that other presidents, infact his ratio is almost exactly the same is Regan, and a lot less than others.
Just another stupid thing the president has done.

The issue of Plame being covert is not the crime. The fact in "outing" her the neocons, revealed the very covert operation that she worked for, thus blowing the cover of the entire operation. bottom line is that the law is to not reveal any operative agent. You can't selectively apply the law as it fits your political agenda. Remember, our country was founded on the principle that "Justice" is blind.

What a farse!
Clinton gets impeached for lying about a hummer while this TRAITOR is CONVICTED of PERJURY & OBSTRUCTION oOF JUSTICE.
That's right CONVICTED of a FELONY by the very judge our treasonous so-called president places on the bench and he gets off!

Dubbya and his minions continue to make a mockery of the justice system.

What does this say to the rest of America - that lying to the court and the FBI while under oath is OK?

What great American values these CONS have huh?

WHAT "injustice"?

The only injustice is Cheney getting away with it while Scooter fell on his sword to protect him, and Bush keeping him quiet with a timely commutation.

Liberal Injustice?

The guy lied and was convicted by a jury of his peers.

Wait, because he's a Republican, that automatically means he shouldn't be held responsible for anything he does, right?
