1. Term Limits. We need fresh faces all the time. Career politicians tend to be looking out for themselves and everyone is always worried about the next election instead of doing what is right. Being right is always not popular.

2. Campaign finance reform. We need our elected officials to beholden to us, not companies and special interests with deep pockets. We also need spending limits on campaigns. I say media has to donate so much free time to each candidate and the money for campaigns comes from the Federal government. It should not be that the person that spends the most wins.

3. We need a viable 3rd party. We need something to pull politicians to the middle not the far left or right. If we were to face facts, the majority of America is right in the middle.

Eliminate the tax code: The majority of the tax code is written to benefit special interest groups and they have to keep the tax code as large as it is to be able to hide this. If we switch to a flat tax or my second choice would be a national sales tax the entire code would be very easy for everyone to see and understand. This would eliminate a lot of the issues people claim are campaign finance issues. They are lobbyist issues and without financial benefit a large percentage of them would disappear.

Campaign donations: See above and include only allowing actual people that are allowed to vote to be allowed to donate to a campaign. This eliminates corporate contributions as well as lobbyists and special interests being able to donate money. This does not change anyone's right to pay for advertising on their though they would be required to state who paid for the ad and should be required to have access to a list of the actual donors that pay for the ad.

Term Limits: I don't know if most people enter politics to make it a never ending career though that's what seems to happen after they get their. The people that have been there a long time control everything and don't allow new ideas to be heard. Putting in term limits will lower the beurocracy and improve our government significantly. With this something must also be done about the people that work for the government because changing the politicians quicker will give the career staff more power and that is even a bigger mistake than the term limits.

There's a lot more to help America though these are the first 3 that came to mind. Good quesiton.

Tongue in cheek, the House of representative, the Senate, and the Executive Branch.
There have been a lot of good answers above, there is one over which the American Public has no control, and that is how our congress does its business. The seniority system seems to keep the same old deadheads in control of key committees, relegating newly elected, fresh idea people to second class status. Thats gotta change. Some of these old heads have too much control. Why should someone from West Va or Nevada have more clout than a Senator from another state? Term limits is the sure answer, but barring that, the rules should be changed.

It replaced into greater suitable below Bush. Ever using fact the democrats took administration of congress and senate in 2008, the democrats began changing fairly some financial rules that created the recession interior the final year of Bush's term. Did they do it to have a republican scapegoat in charge issues on so they could be constructive a democratic president gets elected or did they actually have faith their rules incredibly replaced into going to strengthen issues? Judging how briskly they have been in charge Bush and his oil buddies while gas reached $3/gallon, they're tremendously quiet now that gas is $4/gallon. How can it nevertheless be Bush's fault while Obama has been president for the previous 3.5 years?

Politicians need to be loyal to their country, not their party and their bank account.

Congressional wages and benefits need to be cut so that being a member of congress is once again a public service, not a get rich scheme.

We need to keep our money at home until our problems are solved instead of trying to feed the rest of the world. We have done our share. Other countries need to step up and carry this burden for awhile.

1. Loosen the monopolistic stranglehold of our corrupt two-party system which allows no real choice of candidates except the Democratic and Republican nominees, which almost always come down to the 'lesser of two evils';
2. Reform campaign financing so that the wealthy elitists, corporate contributors, and powerfully influential can't put their candidates in control;
3. Implement term limits so that there's a constant turnover of new candidates with fresh ideas, who don't become beholden to their contributors and/or their party.

1. Dissolve the Federal Reserve banking system, and allow the U.S. Treasury to coordinate banking.

2. Go back on the Gold standard {As mandated in the U.S. Constitution.} to ""STOP"" inflation.
How would you like it if your property taxes never went up again? On the Gold standard there was ""NO"" inflation for 130 years!!!

3. Stop trying to be the policemen/woman of the world & bring our troops home, right now.
These wars are bankrupting the nation and killing thousands of people.

If you, as an American want to make these things a reality, hop on the bandwagon to get "RON PAUL" elected as our next President.
Thank You!
