The fertility rates you quoted for Somalia, Niger, Afghanistan an Yemen are correct. However, you have not taken into account infant mortality rates. These countries have the highest infant mortality rates in the world.

Fertility rates can also distort real population growth. In the case of Ireland, Irish people who had emigrated have returned and are reestablishing our population with native Irish. Also, looking at demographics in such a limited way will distort the full picture.

France has the largest Muslim minority in western Europe. It has the second highest birth rate, most among Christian or secular French. There is also the fact that many immigrants from Muslim countries are integrating into Europe as secular and most follow moderate Islam.

France's Muslim population is approximately 10%, thats the highest in the EU. The EU's Muslim population as a whole is at maximum 4%. These statistics are from European Statistics agencies so if someone tells you otherwise they've been misinformed.

High fertility goes hand in hand with poverty, its very likely that the countries you've named will have to reduce their population growth or face famine / water shortage.

Speaking as a European........NO. Chill out, lots of muslims go back to the middle east or other areas. There are predominantly muslim areas in Britain and Ive got to say they are pretty poor areas.
