We have term limits for Presidents (thank God) so shouldn't we have them for Congressmen and Senators?

Yes -- there should be a two-term limit for both Congressmen and Senators.
However, they will never vote for this themselves so it's up to the American people to vote out anyone who's been in office longer than two terms -- and if enough of us actually get off our butts and do it -- it can happen.

No, we should have term limits for the Cabinet. Wanna see Career Politicians? Look at Cheney and Rumsfeld, they've worked in the Executive Branch for years.

Perhaps instead of term limits we should focus more on voting reform. If an elected official sucks that bad, vote them out of office. If the popular vote keeps them in office then perhaps it is just the few that do not like an individual or his/her politics.

If you don't like your congressman or Senator, vote them out in the next election. That's the beauty of a Democracy.

Absolutely, but the trouble is no one wants such a measure to get started. Some of those old farts been in office 30 - 40 years! I am so sick of not having fresh, new blood in there seeking to change the things that really need change.
