I can't think of a more appropriate place to be foreign
and strange than in the location of comfortable residence.
If an individual can't feel comfortable with their uniqueness
within their own home then where can they feel comfortable.

Definitely not a stranger in my own house. I like my "house" and everything in it....down to the last pore and hair on my head :-).

Whether I'm a foreigner in my own land, well, that's a different story. Very often I feel as though I am standing in "no-man's land", surrounded by peculiar creatures that don't quite know what to make of me! After an initial examination, many eventually walk-off though, muttering, "yup, must be a foreigner" :-).

HAHAHA I am neither I am an Alien from out of space the body snactches got me hahahahahahahahah

In all kidding aside if you know who you are and where came from you can never be a foreigner ot stranger anywhere you set your feet on or in hahaha

I could talk to Aliens too and I think they might like me haha

We only let ourselves feel like strangers and foreigners because of out feelings and emotions and when people have judged us or hurt us we close up and become single and disconnected to the people in our homes in our country etc... My own family hahaha I have been disconnected because one of my cousins said something that was mean last summer by her pool and I stayed away because I was angry but of course the rest of the family did not know what was going on because I never expressed my feelings until I was at a party recently and they put me on the spot where have you been hahaha thats just an example of what I am saying at the beginning of my answer :)) Happy day Enki Binki :))

Am I a foreigner in my own Land, or a Stranger in my own House, you asked? I would say neither applies to me, because I am a U.S. citizen, I do not live anywhere else, and I am a Queen in my house, so , do not feel like an outcast. Thanks for your question.

I'm a foreigner in my own land because I choose to express my freedom of speech and thought. I'm a free thinker and now adays that could be consider terrorism. I'm home in my house because it's sanctuary. Like the Beach Boys song "In My Room". My home is like my really big room.

I use to be a stranger in my own skin, but I've learned to accept me for me and not be so obssessed with how the rest of the world sees me.

Only as much of a foreigner and as much of a stranger as I allow myself to think I am. I really have discovered that it's all in our mind and our perspective and attitude makes a world of difference in our comfort and the way we feel others (including ourselves) perceive us.
