They also said we'd be in there 6 months tops, now we could be there for 50 years.
They should be impeached just for being stupid.

The United States only gets around 17% of it's oil from the Middle East, for a total of less than 5% of the oil produced in the Middle East. The lefts "war for oil" argument holds no water.

All Bush has done is lie since he took office. People talk about Clinton, but he lied about minor things. Bush's lies cost lives and are draining 3 generations of their entire worth.

If a Democrat somehow gets elected President, I can't wait to reverse the rolls and question everything that they do, call them on every detail, especially details that could not be seen or for casted. It's going to be lots of fun!

Yes they lied then and will continue to do so. Viet Nam was fought because of the Domino theory but that proved to be a lie also. We will be paying for this fiasco for years to come.

A lie is KNOWINGLY giving false information. If he believed it at the time it is not a lie but being MISINFORMED. people are wrong all the time...it doesn't mean they LIED, it means they were incorrect. IT HAPPENS...please get over it. On the other hand I really wish they had researched and done a little homework before they got us into this mess, but since we are there we need to make sure it gets fixed before we leave.

You can add the one about how we would be greeted as liberators and crowds throwing flowers. Yes, in the end it was all lies. However, I really thinkied tehse people believed it at the time. Shows how high their level of awareness is.
