I was just reading a question from a poster looking for lesbian friendly restaurants. It wasn't a political post. Wasn't asking for opinions. Just a straight forward question, "does anyone know of any lesbian friendly restaurants in my area?" And there were more responses from haters looking to attack her than from people who had an answer for her. This doesn't happen in other sections of answers like this. I mean, you don't go into the auto section ask a question about a Mustang and get ridiculed for like Fords. If someone wants to report me for ranting or whatever, go ahead. Maybe then someone from yahoo will read this and think about how much they need to provide better controls to guard against this kind of thing. This should be a friendly place where people can network and get answers not a place where you know you'll get bashed no matter what you ask!!

Too many people come here to hate rather than to really help -- which is what this forum is for, that and for us older Happy Folk just to natter on. Personally, they can kiss my furry behind, but until Y!A puts ISP blocks into place nothing's going to get done with the trolls.
It is really a shame that such "good Christian" people (and I'm not talking all of them, most are very nice folks, come in with such hatred. They're forgetting who their own Savior is. Jesus said NOTHING about Homosexuality. He did say a lot about loving your neighbor as yourself though and if that's how they love, they must hate themselves very much.
Blessings, Dearest.

You are completely right! No one should report your rant/question. Because you are telling what we all know and have expressed concerns over multiple times. When we complain a hater will say that yahoo is bending to us because they made pride outfits for avatars. But I've learned the haters get more rights here than we do. As they will say the most HORRIBLE things they can possibly say to us and if you say anything back to them, they report you, and you get into trouble. I know just block and report... to the point where I have to go through my block list and delete people, cause it's maxed at 200... that's very sad. This forum should be about building each other up, sharing experiences, passing knowledge... but a lot of the times it seems like a struggle to survive the haters and bitter people in here. You just have to grin, block, and report... However there are some really wonderful people on here, so if you can find them, hold onto them, as they will help you with advice and will show you that it's worth it to ask/answer questions in this section. Good luck, honestly, because you'll need it in here most days! :)

I agree with you 100%, i get so tired of seeing people get bashed for asking a perfectly innocent question. If the haters don't like LGBTQ people then why in the hell are they in this section. They post stupid insulting answers just to make their dull non-existance life seem better, where in actuality they are so clueless as to how it feels to be free and be yourself.

That is a shame, how sad of a life these people have to have if they have to bash on someone who was just asking a simple question. If they didnt have a productive answer why respond to it? truely sad little people! I thank you for taking a stand on this issue, this really goes unnoticed in these days and ages when someone helps a complete stranger. You truely are the good samaritan.

You are going to find evil people in any place and she and all shall be avenged by the Lord Jesus very soon..

to the point if they were not so evil... I would feel sorry for them

In Jesus true ministry homosexuality was not an issue it is all about spirituality..

Jesus taught after the order of Melchizedek
Jesus taught to the altars of eternal Spirits.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Unfortunately even asking a question about a Mustang will sometimes generate some very immature answerers, likely bored schoolkids with nothing to do. I think they should let you approve of their answer before posting so you can reject all the lame answers.

Don't worry friend. I have to vent about this at times too. What really worries me is the fact that this is not isolate behaviour found only in this section on YA. Haters here are haters on the outside too. They have more courage when they are anonymous, but even cowards find courage in a crowd.

Yes you are right
Though you might be surprised how hostile the Chevy vs Ford debate can get in some circles. People like to take out their aggressions in cyber space

I completely agree and many times, I, too, got extremely annoyed. I am trying to laugh at these idiots now while waiting for (like you say) better yahoo system controls.

The climate of this country encourages this unfortunate and abusive behavior. It is more than a shame. You rant all you want-- what you say is fact-- not opinion-- in my probably (not so) humble opinion.
