Don't make blind generalizations like that. Don't label me, and don't assume you know what I think. Of course they are worthy of support.

When they report to Langley and sit behind a desk, their lives are far from "on the line". If you are dumb enough to believe that other spy agencies don't know who comes and goes from Langley, you are either very naive or very stupid. We should support all agents that work for our government . And BTW Plame was not covert and no crime was committed when she was "outed". Maybe you missed that little tidbit from Fitzgerald.

That's really funny. Supporting the troops doesn't really mean supporting the troops though. No good armor, no armored vehicles, little training, not enough off time, lengthened deployments, etc. etc. Support the troops is a euphemism for support the war. I assume that it is the same for CIA agents.

I can't speak for neo-cons, but as far as the Valerie Plame incident....She had not been an undercover operative for a long time, she was a desk jockey when she was "outed" so her life was not in any danger. The CIA has shamed itself so many times that it should be dismantled and it's misssion and strategies redefined, and reassigned to other, more capable entities.

I'm a republican, and I believe they are worthy. Anyone fighting for our country in any way deserves all of our support, regardless of party.

Well, to them, one loses one's entitlement to protection if one dissents from the Neocons' grandiose scheme to remake the entire Middle East. How did that all work out, by the way?

Good question. We should be debating this instead of why Bush pardoned Libby.
