Excited, meaning physically, not like when you win a game and you're really happy. Excitement in the sexual sense means to become aroused. Your body is reacting to stimuli, i.e. the opposite sex, and wants to act accordingly, i.e. have sexual intercourse with them. The body prepares itself for sex, (coitus) which is when the body temperature rises and the heart beats faster and some other stuff happens too that you can ask your health teacher about.

because the sexual organs have the most sensible tissues in the whole body.
besides sex is seen in society as a taboo, and people get exited by doing things that are considered taboo and that are also pleasurable.
so there´s the physical and the psychological reason.
besides, like other biological needs, sex is something that must be pleasurable, and also hormones are an important factor,i guess that the brain secretes serotonine, that is a sustance that causes happiness

What context did she use it in?

She probably meant aroused, meaning that the guy gets an erection and the girl gets lubricated, or "wet." These are a natural reaction to a sexual stimulus, and prepare the body to perform the act of sex. Without the erection, the guy physically could not get in. Without the wetness, the girl would get injured due to chafing.

Well...there are a lot of reasons, but it sounds like you're pretty young so you should wait until you're older to find out.
Or...
You can ask your parents and/or a trusted adult at school, like your health teacher or the school nurse.

Can you ask your teacher your question? I cannot answer for you since I do not know anything about you. This would be a question to ask your teacher or parents.

Just wait until you do it with the "Right" person, then you'll understand.
