I was a teenager in the 1990's, and I would have never even CONSIDERED having sex without a condom. What I want to know is why this message is not being given today, do you remember the scary AIDS ads? Bring them back, and quickly.
BTW, I used a condom, my first time.

You may find it hard to believe, but there are people out there who have had their first time without protection. I am glad to say I used one, but I do know a lot of people who didn't. I did realize that the people who didn't use one were women who were on the pill and felt like they didn't need that safety net. I don't think it is right, but there are people out there who just don't believe or like condoms.

People dont want to take pregnancy tests and sti tests but it sadly has to happen. Not all first times are planned so protection hasnt been bought and its usually hard for nervous virgins to buy condoms. Some guys lie and tell their virgin gfs that they wont get pregnant if.... or .... so yeah thats why.

I personally, used protection, both birth control and condom. It is playing Russian Roulette with the chance of disease and pregnancy. Anyone contemplating sex should be careful. First time or not. Once you have sex with a person-you have entered into a place with everyone they have ever been with.

Yup I used a condom on my first time too. 25% sounds far too high. Even if you said 5% I'd have my doubts over the reliability of the source.

No, I didn't, but I was in high school, and I refused. My guy (now my husband) wanted to, and maybe we did about 3 or 4 times total in the year and a half before we got married, But when i lost my virginity, no. We 'pulled out' and that was our form of birth control, until i talked him into not worrying about it.

I will admit tha I did not use any protection when I lost my virginity. I was so clueless on sex that I went home and told my parents that I was pregnant - thank God I wasn't. I hope that society today uses protection (especially youth) b/c w/ the diseases that are spreading it's something we need to bring to their attention until they can't take it anymore and decide to either use protection or wait.

I used a condom too! It is stupid to not use something your first time. The first time is just as easy to get pregnant or get an STD as any other time.
