It is everything we want, and nothing we don't. It is perfection, and peaceful, and we strive for it, we'll do anything to get at it. Bust most of the time we are separated from it, and we spend so much energy trying to get to it, but in the wrong ways. We get frustrated and give up, and stay in the darkness because we believe that the light is not meant for us.

In poetic terms seeing the light is to gain knowledge of something. And that's what philosophers struggle to do in their life, gain knowledge of the meaning of life and the grand purpose of the universe. Philosophers come packaged differently, some see life as a " meaningless accident of Creation" which leaves all of us as "nothings".. doing nothing of meaning or purpose and the reward for the birth and experience of personal awareness is death....the dousing of the lamp. . Others see the light of nobility and purpose in the Creation with a Grand Designer hidden in the wings and a future for all of us somewhere in space time. Light,. as science describes it, comes in packets called quanta, a bundle of energy that is always the same for every particle of light called a photon. For me, light is the same energy that souls are made from, for me it is imaginable that light is a living being of pure energy and when the dark times came in my life, like a sudden storm from nowhere, and I was ready to give up, somehow, a ray of light found its way through the cracks and relit my spirit. Light is life and hope. Without light, of any kind, there would be no life. Philosophers are poets in a way so I thought this answer might resonate with you.....but what do I know....I am just a nobody.

Light is the absence of dark. Light will not always remain in this universe - things do not remain the same and eventually the light will be extinguished. However - do not fret for light will once again occur. It has to, without it there is only darkness and darkness can only turn upon itself on a path of destruction (which would once again lead to new light).

It is Divine and is designed to inspire and teach.

I find it in nature, from loved ones and in beauty all around.
