Love just is. You really cant explain love between the same sex or the opposit sex. It just is. But here is love defined:

because love simply is, and it doesn't make a difference between sexes. Your biology will choose for you. We all need love, no matter where it comes from.

Sometimes love just finds you. When it does, it doesn't matter what sex the other person is. Just enjoy it.

Because we are lucky and I'm very glad I get to experience it... why does love exist at all would probably be a better question. :)

Because on the 8th day, God said, "Dang this place is bleak and boring, I need to create a bunch of artistic and sensitive creatures who can add some culture and livelihood and spruce this place up." And that's when God created gays. :)

Because love just happens we don't plan it. We can't control what our hearts tell us.
You can love without it being sexual.
