The Times reports `Hezbollah is making trouble in Iraq- Says US`
Isn`t it just possible that by invading a country and killing 300,000 if it`s poulation it may be said that the stupid yankees are causing a little trouble themselves. For goodness sake wake up to what you have become !!!!!!

This is the USA. They can invade other countries but the people of those countries can't fight to determine their own government. The USA can have nukes but no other country can. The USA can use their nukes, can spy on other countries, can attempt to murder presidents of other countries (eg Castro), can blockade and impose sanctions against other countries, can withold money they are entrusted with (witholding money belonging to N Korea). They can locate their missiles and satelites so as to overlook the soverign space of other countries (missile shield deployment in Eastern Europe).

But don't let people of another country 'make trouble' by trying to change the government within their own region.

It all depends on what is your perspective. From the point of view of the US, Hezbollah is the trouble-maker; from the point of view of Hezbollah (and a few other parties), the coalition is the trouble-maker. Is there an objective and impartial view point? Unfortunately, no. Everyone has to come to such matters with some 'pre-consciousness' which is conditioned by our history. This personal history is informed by our culture, beliefs, tastes, etc. So if you think that a liberal society where people can vote, have religious freedom, enjoy Big Macs, watch porn, kiss in public, etc., is a better place than Saddam's Iraq, then you might think that the US is doing a good thing, and some 'co-lateral damage' in achieving it is 'a price worth paying for'. But if you think that a society that is ruled by strict religious code, where tradition is more important than personal choice, and national pride is paramount, then you might take a different view. Naturally, the US will take the former view - that they are are the good guys and the other side the baddies. You may not like it, but that's how the cookie crumbles, as the Yanks will say.

And the stupiddest part is that Hezbollah is an organization based in Lebanon, not Iraq.
The US-biased-media will misinform those gullible people who, in their ignorance, might agree AND support!!! their absolutely idiotic war.

Come on, don't stay in DENIAL, face it people, the little strategy got out of hand and Iraq is a mess now, thanks to the US Government and its allies trying to play god.

Don't people know that early in the war, the US Government ordered the Iraqi Ministry of Health to stop counting civilian deaths, and forbade them from releasing any totals previously gathered? So there are probably thousands and thousands of unreported deaths!! and the reported ones go through a political "filter" before reaching the mass media!!
come on people, wake up.

If a policy for the peace had being in place, and the troops to implement it. Then the US and Britain could have cause to complain about Hezbollah. Instead of thinking how they or there citizens would react to being invaded, they thought we brought Saddam down now everyone will live happily ever after. How can so called intelligent people be so naive.

So you're saying that because the U.S. can be said to have caused trouble in Iraq, we forfeit the right to accuse others of causing trouble?

There's no doubt that the U.S. took a screwed up country and screwed it up further. But we're not alone, as several surrounding countries and groups supported by them, are causing even more trouble over there.

I wonder if it's possible for ordinary Iraqis to wake up and take back their country. At the moment it's dozens of armed gangs, some posing as political parties, that are playing a game of tit-for-tat to make up for all the years they couldn't express their hatred for one another.

Iraq is sort of like the former Yugoslavia. Saddam kept the various factions at peace through fear the way the USSR kept the eastern bloc countries from splintering and fighting along ethnic and nationalistic lines. Once the oppressive power is removed, all their petty hatreds rise to the surface.

Oh yes - give the West a loud alarm call and wake them up and show them that different parts of the world have different values. I don't doubt that the yankees have good intentions - it's like attacking a self construct Ikea piece of furniture whilst ignore the instructions - it just won't work.

I doubt very much if Americans have killed 300,000 people in Iraq . The real killers are the fighting factions Sunni and Shier Muslims insurgents who continually use suicide/ car/ truck and improvised explosive devices to kill and Mame their own people.. You ought to see the truth instead of reading propaganda..

Yep, your question is about as stupid as they come. Hezbollah are Lebanese terrorists. They have nothing to do with Iraq. Iraq is not their brothers and we have no beef with them.

Irrespective of the number 300,000 or 3,000, the US of A are either directly or indirectly responsible, no excuse!

And that's a fact!
