And be stuck doing cubicle monkey or retail jobs with their overinflated college degree--IF they even get to college? Why not just tell them the truth that it's not about how hard you work, it's who you know in high places and how good you are at conning people?

Because you never know if your kid is in that 5%... why cut them off at the knees before they have a chance?

Every child has the potential for greatness... as long as they are led, educated, and motivated by people around them. People like you, the ones who give up too soon, are the reason our youth isnt as great as the generations before it.

I can't accept your definition of "failure." Look at the "monkeys" and compare them with the "dropouts" fifteen years from now. I don't know why college works, but it does. Must be indirectly.
