I can't tell you how, but I can tell you why. Most of the time, when you think you're gay, there is no going back. Really, the only thing you do is hide it and push it away and choose to live a different life. A lot of people come out and end up getting discriminated against, so they choose to "change their minds" about it and live a straight life. I'm gay, and personally... I know in my heart that no one who thinks they are gay can ever NOT be gay. I say that because it's such a hard thing to think in the first place, and just considering it is really tough. If someone goes from gay to straight, they make themselves do it. It's not that they aren't gay anymore, it's that they choose not to show it.

Most likely when someone turns straight from being gay, he/she had to mentally changed his/her personality for the better. When a person changed from being gay to straight, there had to be reasons for the change. Gays are often made fun of, and left out by others. Most likely a gay may get tired of this, and will deside to change his/her personality and actions. That gay would need to be a calmer person, and stop the attractiveness and flirtatiousness. Conflicts of being gay, can also help change a gay to become straight.
A gay who is mentally, physically, and emotionally gay, would most likey stay gay for the rest of his/her life. A gay who is only emotionally gay, could change to be straight. Dealing with the emotions, he/ her would probabually change self-consiously, but with effort to be a better person. Their whole key would be to act more normally, and be more willing to act their real sex.

If we already know that people CAN'T change from gay to straight, how would it make any sense to tell you how they CAN?
But as for how people have ATTEMPTED to change, various methods have been employed, including sexual reconditioning, aversion therapy, hormone treatments, lobotomies, and prayer/exorcism.
Effective? Not really. The most "change" people can hope for is to become abstinent, or to develop a sexual relationship with one particular opposite-sex partner while still continuing to harbor same-sex desires.
Potentially harmful? Yes. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence suggesting that attempts to modify sexual orientation result in greater guilt, denial, depression, anxiety, and suicide.
This is why a number of "ex-gay" leaders recently apologized for all the harms their programs have inflicted upon their clients over the years.

Sure, not a problem. Just remove the back of their skull, reknurl their medulla oblongata from a left-handed metric pattern to a right-handed english pattern, delongate all the unimeciums you find there, close up the openings you've made, re-attach the skull, and sit them down to watch a bunch of John Wayne or Marilyn Monroe movies, depending on how you want them to come out. It works every time!
Or you can come to your senses, realize that what you want ain't gonna happen, accept your own sexuality, and go forward with your life. It's your choice.

Maybe the person was just curious about the other sex that's why they changed in the first place. Then when they see that they didn't like it and they probably miss the other sex.
People love to be curious. Just be greedy and have both so you don't have to change lol :)

They can't. You can't change your eye color or your handedness either. These are all inborn traits.
What, you don't want answers that are the TRUTH? Then we wouldn't be helping you very much, would we?
There are some so-called "ministries" out there that subject people to severe mental torture to try and "convert" them. Some may be able to change temporary behavior - strong emphasis on the word BEHAVIOR - but none can change innate sexual orientation one iota.
Be happy with whom God created you to be, and the choice God made for your life.
Good luck!

Sorry if you dont wanna hear about not being able to change, but its the truth and you need to hear it. You can NOT change from Gay to Straight. You can however pretend to be straight your entire life but eventually you will need to come to terms with who you are. Good Luck!

Of course you can be anything you like without explaining to it everybody. A number of well-known Brit gays have had live-in girl friends - why not? One of the most-loved paintings in the Tate Gallery is of Mr & Mrs Ozzie Clarke (& Percy), where the most interesting part is that David Hockney the artist, had both of them.
