Always hand the tip directly to the person who provides your service. S/he can then decide how/if they want to divvy it up.

The girl who did the work. You can just go up to her/him and hand them the tip/cash. Sometimes (depending on where you go) they will ask you what you would like to tip and add it to the charge.
