Absolutelty! what do they know! people tend to like to assume they know about your life and how you are feeling when they really have no clue! Thing is, it is very easy to look at someones life from the outside and say "its not that bad" when they arent the ones with it!.

Some days, yeah, I sure do. ^_^
And you'll notice too that the people who say this the most strenuously are the ones who stand to get *paid* if you stick around (like doctors, therapists, counselors, etc.). Trust me, there is a fair bit of truth to the old saying "You'll never get *better* in a hospital," at least when it comes to psychiatric issues. People don't want you "better", they want you labeled and under their thumb (a.k.a. stabilized).
Really. I've been at this on and off for 15 years now just as an adult....and yeah, with the same people too. If this were about *any* other medical problem besides depression, I could *sue* already for negligence, malpractice, on and on...
But yeah, I hear ya. ^_~ Really. Some people are just too busy looking at you as some sort of profit center to care. They are too busy trying to push an agenda to address the *real issue* which is that our lives *SUCK*. If they spent half of the time they do on "convincing us", on actually solving our problems or at least admitting they *exist*, we wouldn't have so many things to be bitter about in our lives, would we?
And the sad part of it is....it may really just be all about *population control* in the worst possible way. Never mind for the moment that most so-called antidepressants cause sexual dysfunction out the wazoo....hold on, let me scare up that link....

There! Basically the gist of it is, there's proof that being bossed around and stressed out over it can *neuter you* all by itself. And yes, that it works for *primates* like us too and not just naked mole rats, read the *whole* thing.
So yeah, *that* is what the fuss is about. The haves bully the have-nots so that they don't *breed* so much. Sorry to be so blunt about it, but really, it can be a relevation when you break it down that far into terms that simple.
Thanks for your time! ^_^ I hope this helps get you some big-picture kinds of perspective going here....

Life is worth living, it is a gift and you should be excited about what tomorrow may bring. No matter what it is today doesn't mean it will be later in life.
Look to your future and know that you will one day have a family, maybe be famous, or a scientist, or a pilot who knows what life will bring you.
Right now it is just a process to get to your purpose.

Life IS worth living. Your life is what YOU make it. If you don't like how your life is right now, then it's time for you to make some changes and turn your life into something that will help you to enjoy it. There is much beauty in life. You just need to focus on the good of it. Nobody's life is perfect.

No, because I love my life. I suggest you go find some friends and some things that make you happy, then life would be worth living.

I think it's kind of empty-headed to say merely "life is worth living." I believe that it is, but I think that people could try to find something more original to say.

I hate when people tell me that. Life worth living or not, it annoys the heck out of me.

I used to feel the same way, but I dont anymore - those types of feelings just went away over time... I just remembered what I loved doing and just did it and said to myself "forget about what the rest of the world thinks" - works great!

If you feel life isn't worth living then get off your *** and do something about it! You and you alone hold the keys to changing your life and yuor attitude. Sitting around and feeling bad and sorry for yourself is just plain useless. Life is what you make it. So get up and start dancing!

Life is what you make it. Either worth living or wallow in self-pity the rest of it. You either make a choice . We can all choose how we want to live.
