NFL Europe was the developmental league for the NFL, kinda like how the AHL is to the NHL

alott of those players have already been drafted, but werent NFL ready, so they signed contracts with NFL Europe, and when the NFL team saw that a player was ready, purchased the contract from the Europe team

simple enough. so to answer your question yes they can ALLL sign deals with the NFL (or CFL)

Many of the NFL Europe players are already signed by NFL teams. Many NFL teams were using the Europe league as a developmental league, giving guys playing time. Almost every team in the NFL sent at least 5 or 6 players to NFL Europe, some even more.

Some of those players rights are owned by NFL teams so it will be up to those teams to decide there fate. Other players will become free agents and look to sign with NFL teams as well as arena leauge and CFL teams basically anywhere they can get some playing time and a paycheck. However alot of the players are European and will not come to the U.S. unless it is a for an NFL contract.

They are eligible already.
More than likely, what'll happen is that a few of them will get practice squad spots, and the others will be out of football, or maybe into Arena Ball.

There are only about 1700 NFL spots open at any given time, plus about 160 practice squad spots. The NFL Europe guys will be another bunch of folks trying to get into those jobs.

Almost all of them are American so they come back home and probably try getting into the CFL, AFL, or Mark Cubans new league. Usually they were not good enough or ready to be in the NFL which is why they were over there in the 1st place.

Gotta love the NFL. The NFL is moving toward establishing itself as the "big corporate green machine".

Big business, with a "Bush-like" commissioner..

China's economy is booming. I'm sure residents in China will pay big, top dollar for the opportunity to view NFL games in their home country.

They look for new jobs, 95% of american players were there only as a development league, so the future isn't bright for them.

They come back here and join the practice squads, or move onto AFL.
