30-35 minutes with the oven on 350... that should do it ♥

Microwave on high for about 3 minutes and remember to stir occasionally. Remove from microwave and remeber to be careful because it is hot. Now add your marinade, honey mustard is prefered but if the parakeet is green then we recommend a pesto sauce. Place parakeet back in microwave for about another 2 minutes on high. Let marinade/pesto cook down. Take back out. Parakeet is a summer meal so enjoy while you can. Most people consider it taboo to eat parakeet during the winter. ENJOY!

Technically only about 10 minutes but I like mine to really fall off the bone so I always cook it for at least 20.

Boiled: 10 minutes
Grilled: 2 minutes/side
Baked (in sauce): 20 minutes at 350

you bake it DON'T ever try broiling it won't turn out well...bake it for about 30-45 minutes then in 5 minute intervals for desired crispyness. Then u have to buy a new birdy.

if it's flitting around in the oven, give it an extra 10 minutes and then test it. They're no good in the microwave.

you'd have to ask my mother. she's not very good with birds either.
i bought her a very expensive talking parrot, then didn't see her for a few months.
later, when i remembered to ask if she liked it, she said it had died. i asked how that happened. she said the vet told her it had starved. "and how did THAT happen?" i asked.
"it never said, ' i'm HUNGRY!'" she replied.
