Well let's see. If I put them on a scale of justice I have on one side
a person who under false pretext enters a secure facility then again sneaks state security documents out of the building, documents that had not been cataloged and we have no way to know what they contained, steals multiple documents and lies about it multiple times
and then we have
a person who screws up in his remembering of events and conversations about something that was not even a crime and gets trapped into making a false statement
well gee I am not stupid, obviously it is Bushes fault, because when you are an irrational brainwashed idiot that is what you do blame bush.
Now come on, stealing state secrets and not remembering about something that is not a crime, what kind of person would pick libby in this one.
EDIT: this just in, hillarys brother ordered to repay money to those bill pardoned, man does the stench around the clintons ever get better, I call it a continuing criminal enterprise.

Libby..because he should not have co-operated to begin with..
but Scooter wasn't out to keep data away
from the 9-11 Commission so they could avoid being
blamed totally ...for not getting bin Laden..by stealing
classified documents archived..
so really Berger is part of the reason there was a leak to begin with..if there had been no 9-11

That right there is the BIGGEST problem in washington, corruption. When people like Sandy "big pants" Berger pull stunts like that and all they get is a slap on the wrist.
Its a good thing God has the final say in justice upon the corruption of the earth and it isnt just left to men.

Just answering a political question with Clinton did it is wearing thin, more than one man at a time is in prison for murder, we don't ask if one murder is worse than another we just prosecute it as murder.
Libby isn't accused, hes been found guilty of four counts of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, by a jury of his peers, with a Republican judge presiding. Berger pled guilty, but as it turned out none of those paper were the key papers in anything at all and there were copies of them anyway. He pled guilty of taking classified papers. A misdemeanor, not a felony.
Good lord people do a little research about what you write.
A felony is worse than a misdemeanor.
One man plead guilty the other went through a whole trial with the most favorable possible justice department possible.
Libby is guilty as charged and his sentence was well within guidelines. Just because he was Chief of Staff for Cheney shouldn't mean he gets a get out of jail card.
Its not me, its the law, its not personal, its the judicial system.
We would all be better off if we actually learned what we are talking about here, and in one case the law, not me, calls it a felony, and in another case, the law not me, calls it a misdemeanor. Lets also remember that until those papers were stolen, they were there, and as I pointed out, they weren't important, and there were copies. Don't succumb to the temptation to assume that simply because something went missing it was the Rosetta Stone, they were there for five years before Berger walked away with them and no one said boo. Not even the hundreds of people working on the Clinton cases for six years.

I find it very telling that you asked a very straight forward question with no bias whatsoever and the left immediately began tearing you apart for Clinton bashing among other things.
Berger was the worse crime. Libby was convicted due to a crime investigation of a crime that NEVER occurred. Can you say Witch Hunt? I hope my memory never fails ME!

There is a very BIG difference between lying in a civil deposition, and obstructing the investigation of a federal prosecutor.
Clinton was indicted but not convicted of perjury. He was still disbarred. Berger pled guilty to mishandling classified documents in a plea agreement with the US Attorney. He served probation and lost his security clearance.
Libby obstructed the investigation of a special prosecutor. An investigation into the public revelation of classified information - classified information which ironically wounded our nation's ability to track the proliferation of WMD. And he's getting a fine and some probation for that?
What do you not understand in this picture? Where do you not see the difference between these crimes?
You are comparing apples and oranges.

What about Judith Miller. She went to jail for the CIA leak case just because she believed in the freedom of the press. And Libby walks. It is disgusting that the only person to serve jail time for a CIA leak is a reporter, and she NEVER published an article on the topic.

The grand Jury was a witch hunt. The left could care less who they destroy as long as they win in 08. Sandy Burgler stole many documents that would have implicated the god of the left. The left aren't interested in honesty or justice. Only Bush's downfall and power.

Both are crimes. It's not a matter of which is worse. The actions of the administration in this case put at risk one covert agent, and all of her contacts going back to her first covert assignment. It makes it difficult to recruit new agents if they think their identitities might be revealed by the outing of their control agent.
Libby got caught he needs to go to jail. this sets a lousy precedent for future government employees.
