It's a beautiful name that means Happiness or Celebration. I've always found women named Felicia to be very attractive and a pleasure to be around. People don't often realize but their names have a significant bearing in their life. Be glad its not Bertha.

I like the name Felicia for several reasons.
1. not a lot of people have that name, and sometimes thats a great thing because then you don't feel so minipulated and small (I know it sounds dorky,)
2.it's can be as unique or un-unique as you like it to be

I do, it's unusual... better than having a hugely popular name like Betty or Anne dont you think? I used to have a pink monkey doll with blushing cheeks that used to suck its thumb called Felicia when I was a little girl. Twas very sweet.

i like it! when i was a kid our one neighbor lady was named Felicia but all of us kids called her Miss Felicia she was nice and pretty and her daughter Angie and friend Miss Tilly used to take all of us kids on really long bike rides , it is a nice name. good luck.

I never say it sounds nasty, some people are actually named that, but no. It is a way of making their child's name "different" because it is not very common.

I had a classmate named Felicia..She was a bully.. She snipped my hair..I hated her..I hate that name and i cant stand her...I'd probably shave her bald if i met her today...hmm..wonder where she is....
