I will celebrate by setting up my blog in honor of this day. Independence day is big in America, and most Americans celebrate it with style.

To spend time with those people that mean the most to me: family and friends. Without them I would not be the person I am today.

I would also like to say a special prayer to the men and women giving their lives for this "war". I wish them a safe journey back home!! They are truly selfless people to give back of themselves while risking their lives!!

We're making a huge meal for the two of us, drinking some beers, then wandering to the end of the block to watch fireworks. Then I console my husband when he cries. (He's a veteran, he calls this one of "his" holidays.)
