why don't you graduate from pharmacy school and find out?

You're jumping WAY ahead of yourself right now.

What on earth makes you think a pharmacists job is any more or less flexible than any other job? The top paid pharmacists work in Hospitals and can often be required to work without rest for 12 to 16 hours. Honey you need to do more research, and likely find another choice of profession.
I started out in Pharmacy, then became RN.

I am a PharmD. I went to school because I wanted to further my career, push my intellectual limits, have a flexible (yet demanding) schedule so I can take care of my family better and to make a decent salary that I can suport myself and my family on.
I don't understand why you think studying is a waste. It is highly likely that even if you land a doctor like a prize fish, your chances are 2 out of 3 that you will end up a single mommy. Neither pharmacy school or medical school is easy, and getting in is even harder.
Maybe you should just be a mommy- it sounds like that is what you want anyway, having children and having someone with a cool job to support you. Good luck finding that lifestyle- odds are a lot higher you'll be living in a trailer park.

Well, from your wording i'm not sure if you want any Christian's response or just a certain type of Christian, but if my child came out to me...I guess we'd do a lot of talking and have some discussions. But I can't force my child to live as anything and certainly would not nor could not isolate him. As a Christian parent my religion dictates that I never stop loving my child. He will always and forever be my child, regardless what life he lives. The three great virtues are faith, hope and love, but the greatest is love. Edit to add--reading some of the responses here makes me very sad, to think parents would throw away the greatest gift God gives us, our children.

Why is what a person does matter if you marry them. I am a nurse and if I married a doctor I wouldn't think she would think she is better than me based on her profession. Then again I would never marry a Dr. because they are the most self centered egotistical people i have ever met.
