Well, there's nothing wrong with it,
It's the President's right,
Clinton did it many times,
Clinton pardoned terrorists,
Clinton did it in far worse situations,

Is there nothing negative they can say about it? Oh, nevermind. It's Fox.

Someone obstructs justice and there's no consequences for them? What do you think of Bush doing this, regardless of what Clinton or other Presidents did. Is it justified? Is it fair? Or does it even matter?

Poor Tony Snow, watching this press conference is brutal.

Whoever said I was a lefty?

Typical.
After seven years, everything is still about Clinton. It's become so hard to say something genuinely good about this president you have to rail on his predecessor in an attempt to prop him up.

I am not watching it, so I can't comment on their spin.
You can debate whether or not the President should have the power to pardon, but it is within his right to do so.
Same thing with the US Attorneys that were fired. It is within the President's right to replace them when he sees fit.
I do not think it matters much.
And he only pardoned the prison part of the sentence. Libby still has to pay the fine.

I think a new precedence was set when Clinton did not go to prison for committing perjury.
The facts are that Libby did not leak the name but there was a prosecutor that wanted a conviction at any and all costs.
Libby should have been granted a complete pardon.

Break the law go to jail My view in a nut shell

Libby urinates on the law and is cheered by his political party for it. Bush, defecates on the criminal justice system and frees a convict for no other reason other than honoring a code of flip flopping ideals of justice.

The Libby pardon is different from all the other pardons. Only this one is to keep someone quiet, to protect someone else (Cheney) from getting in worse trouble. Libby was going to sing unless they gave him a break. Now he'll keep quiet for them.

why do you torture yourself by watching the truth...for self preservation...just watch the three networks and almost every other cable channel...oh yea, and buy a lifetime subscription to New York Times....that should bring your blood pressure down....it is OK, not everyone can handle the truth, don't berate yourself....you have many liberals around to help rub soothing head-in-the-sand salve on that nasty Conservative sore spot!!
