clinton made 396 pardons over 96 months, bush made 70 over 48 months. some of clinton's pardons included drug dealers and fugitive financiers. so dont even try to blame anyone for scooter's pardon, all he did was lie in a court case that shouldnt have even been held. it was just a political move against bush.
are liberals so open-minded and liberal that they support criminals getting released from prison and walkng away with just a warning?

I don't support giving criminals a break. But the Libby pardon was to keep him quiet, so he doesn't expose the fact that Cheney was beind a plot that broke the law in exposing an agent.

But why am I even talking to YOU, who thinks that everyone not a right-wing paranoid nut job is an Islamic terrorist?

This isn't about Clinton. Bush let Scooter off the hook. The crime was perjury. The crime of leaking a CIA agent wasn't really prosecuted. Think Bush wanted to commute Cheney's sentence too?

Do you really think that Libby was somehow convicted simply because of politics? How did they manage to get a jury of only Democrats? He was convicted because he committed a crime, pure and simple.

And lets see how many and who Bush pardons on his way out before we compare him to Clinton, OK?

I am a Dem and I think Clinton was waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy wrong on this...disgraceful. I do like Bill Clinton but I do not think I want him near the White House again.

Still...Bush was not right either.

So outing a CIA agent whose specialty was WMD's in the middle east is OK with you. You want the US to be ignorant of what Iran has or doesn't have. When your pals outed Plame not just she, but her entire carefully built network of informers went down so the US is truly blind now about WMDs in Iran. Thanks a lot. Real patriotic. You people make me puke.

Thank you for no bush bashing. It is nice to see. I agree with you. I don't agree with every little thing bush has done, but I still feel proud to have voted for him. I just wanted to say Thank You.
