I was born this way, but fought against it for a long time. Am a MUCH happier person now that I accept myself for who I am.

Even some animals ARE born homosexual. It certainly has something to do with the genes. It is not wrong whatever the religious people say. It is just different.

I believe it is one way people develop when there is serious overcrowding in this world. The religious want more and more people living who would never live without serious intervention such as an infant born with no brain. So the worlds people have to develop in a different way.

I recently heard about a new theory which might explain. There are a high number of male homosexuals who have older brothers. The theory is that after a woman has a male child, subsequent boys born to her have a higher chance of being homosexual. They think it has to do with hormones which are now present in her body (after the first boy). This also tends to increase with each subsequent pregnancy so the chances on being homosexual increase if a boy has two or more older brothers.

Scientific researches have shown that homosexuality is biologically linked to genetic factors.

An October 2004 scientific research publication stated that scientists at the University of Padua have found that women tend to have more children when they inherit the same genetic factors linked to homosexuality in men. This fertility boost more than compensates for the lack of offspring fathered by gay men, and keeps the “gay” genetic factors in circulation. Mothers of gay men produced an average of 2.7 babies compared with 2.3 born to mothers of straight men. And maternal aunts of gay men had 2.0 babies compared with 1.5 born to the maternal aunts of straight men.

Another study published in Human Genetics in February 2006 examined X chromosome inactivation in mothers of gay sons and mothers whose sons were not gay. Normally, X chromosome inactivation occurs at random: half of the cells in a woman's body will have one X chromosome inactivated, while the other half inactivates the other chromosome. Researchers found that in about a quarter of mothers who had at least two gay sons every single cell in these women inactivated the same X chromosome while only 4 percent of mothers with no gay sons showed this type of extreme skewing.

A Canadian university study published in June of 2006 stated that, although researchers have known for years that a man's likelihood of being gay rises with the number of older biological brothers, that the new study found that the so-called "fraternal birth order effect" persists even if gay men were raised away from their biological families.

Yes. You see, a man inserts himself into a women at the time when she is ovulating and they dont use any protection and voila, 9 months later a child is born. About one in ten will be born predetermined to be homosexual. Personally, I think it has something to do with inutero repressed memories of of watching the heterosexual sex act from the inside, but I could be wrong.

homosexuality is something that is more often developed than born with. the only time that one can be born with the predisposition to be homosexual is when a chemical imbalance occurs in the brain due to a traumatic event or some predisposition if some one in the family is, which is rare but can happen. it's not just that though and dna doesn't really play that big of a part.

however, people more often than not cannot be born homosexual. homosexuality comes from experiencing other people and developing as a person which is why most people don't come out or even think about it until there closer to teen years. homosexuality is something that is almost grown into over time because with each person you deal with you learn more about yourself and your preferences.
