Robert Booker Tio Huffman (born March 1, 1965 in Houston, Texas), better known by his ring name Booker T., is an American professional wrestler. He is currently performing for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on its SmackDown! brand where he is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. Huffman's Booker T persona changed his name to King Booker upon winning WWE's King of the Ring tournament in mid 2006.

He won by defeating matt hardy in the first round, kurt angle in the semi finals, and bobby lashley in the finals. He won all of these with a scissors kick. He then went on to be the champ before losing it to batista.. he will keep his role as the king until there is another king of the ring tournament. which there wont be for a while. so that means the chances of him going back to booker t any time soon isnt very likely

He won the 2006 King of the Ring Tournament against Bobby Lashley. The next Smackdown, he crowned him King Booker.....with the help of his royal court, William Regal, Finlay, and Queen Sharmell.

he won king of the ring and adopted the king booker charactor, i personally think he was a lot better as booker t, as king booker he is awful, he should revert back to his old ways

Yes winning King of the Ring gets you that title.Viscera won it and used to be knowen as King Mabel.We know that there is only one true king and that is the King of Memphis.Jerry Lawler
