Yes, but all I know is Vilnius.
It's like a fairytale village in the forest in the old country.
Interesting archtecture, food, friendly, and inexpensive.
I took a night train from Warsaw, but that's now been discontinued and it's a bus. the train was great!!
But not the train that goes through Minsk now. Belarus requires a visa for US cits.

Then i took a night train up to Riga,Latvia.
Very interesting architecture too, a looooovely city.
That night train might also have been discontinued,
(check www.oebb.at for schedules)
but a bus only takes less than 6 hours, and cheap.
I took the bus back from Riga, then flew from Vilnius to Berlin.
Check out the KGB museum in Vilnius.!.
