No Not necessarily. But the thing with the Indian coaches they are laid back they never venture for change in the game plan. Most of the foreign coaches try new strategies some fail some succeed.
If you are particularly talking about Cricket then it is true that India needs a coach who has exposure to cricket and laid back players and a coach who can be strict enough to take them to task to get them playing.

I don't think that the nationality of the coach should be an issue. What India needs is a coach who can motivate and guide the players to perform their best. There is no lack of talented cricketers in India but what is lacking is objectivity in nurturing the young tel ants that can serve their country for a long time.

Since there is no professional coach in India, I strongly feel that India should go for a foreign skilled professional coach.

whoever becomes coach, that is not important.
whether it's an indian or from foreign. the more important thing is that india become 1st number in all cricket playing nations. And win all matches.

Your kidding? Indians are only interested in making money by hook or by crook, An Indian coach wouldnt be concentrating on coaching, but rather on politics, commissions, kick backs, and extracting perks for himself.
