Whenever I'm in my boudoir my TV is on.
It's an OCD thing I think. The TV is on while I'm sleeping - no or low volume.
AND the only way to watch TV properly is with closed-captioning turned on. I started doing it only at night so I could watch TV and not have the volume wake me up. Now it's on ALL the time. You wouldn't believe how much dialogue you miss watching TV sans CC. Another bonus is soundtracks! The soundtracks in films, music videos, background music... you get to read all the lyrics! It's genius!
I'm VERY passionate about my TV and I'm passionate about closed-captioning. I challenge all of you to watch your TV's with the CC turned on for a week. It's weird in the beginning, but I swear to god you'll never be able to watch TV without CC again.

I use to like having some music on...but, haven't really done that for a very long time. I think the TV can be really distracting to be honest....even when comedies are on I'll listen to the TV and laugh. If we are watching a movie and the mood strikes...I can leave the movie on I guess.

It's a sad, sad day when if you're in a relationship and you put a t.v in the bedroom. As far as I am concerned the relationship would be over. If I am not entertaining enough for my partner then he's out the door.

I don't have a TV in my bedroom, however I do have a stereo and I do turn that on every morning and night

I have no tv in my room--there are soooo many others things more satisfying to turn on in my bedroom, that tv is the farthest from my mind!!
