Why are those the only two choices for you? Do you not see the third option? That they are just right? Don't you remember Goldilocks and the Three Bears? There's never only two choices, there are always at least 3.

We are very close, however they don't live close enough for me to see as often as I'd like.

the nearest people in my life are my friends they can be your parents
if you are that close. my best friend is hayley and she is the most dramatic person i have ever met and i get stuck in this position so whomever i think ,
you can talk to and them listen.
