He ran his intial presidential campaign saying "I'm a uniter not a divider". But I seem to notice that there is more division in this country than I've seen in my lifetime. Heck, just read any political post on this site and you will see such hatred from one side to the other.

We can't get anything done in this country unless we unify for our common good. Whether a person is a liberal or a conservative they are still people, and we share a common future together.

Divider. Both in our country and abroad. From everything to the war, NAU, illegal immigration, free trade....on down the line. I too have never felt this country be so divided on so many different levels. Many feel they've just plain and simple been sold out......to the lowest bidder. Whether it be our jobs, unsafe food for the sake of the buck, just too many things to mention.

I do agree.....we need as people to unite in-spite of him. I've always heard in times of confusion....ya go back to the basics. It only appears confusing when you're mixing too many things together. Yes....one thing does effect another but sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. Seems like too many things have moved forward like gangbusters refusing to acknowledge the negative side of things. Ignoring it or wishing it away doesn't make it go away. Sometimes you have to stop and deal with it......pushing ahead mindlessly obviously hasn't worked.

I can't say I totally disagree with everything.....it's just gone way off base and definitely needs tweaking. I mean there's burning through things and there's times when your strategy is just wrong and needs fixing. Too much has gone on behind closed doors, too quickly, with a select few, to trust their judgement anymore.

On that note.....I don't think there's any "perfect" president who doesn't rankel some feathers on one side or the other. Can't please everybody. But like you said....it's both sides totally divided.

I heard this saying once. If someone tells you you're a horse....you can ignore it. If 2 people tell you you are...you better consider it.....if 3 people do....get yourself a saddle.

He needs to get a saddle.

More a puppet. He does what he is told. Dividing people as much as possible is the only way a groups such as those pulling his strings can stay in power.

He said he had the ability to reach across the aisle. What he meant to say was that he had the ability to reach across the aisle and slap you across the face if you don't do as he wants. There is no room for disagreement in "his government".

When he leaves office, the whole world will be delighted-- both friend and foe alike. So in that sense, he's a uniter.

He's a uniter, but in a "One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them" kind of way.

Repubs and their supporters have proven they are not interested in unity. They think anyone who disagrees with them is going to Hell anyway. They are delusional, criminally selfish and dangerous to all free Americans.
