Society goes on a norm and what benifiets society the most.
Those that are different are persecuted.
example: being gay, in the past did not benifiet society. The government needed babies for there population to grow and for wars. It is different today.
In Jesus true ministry homosexuality was not an issue it is all about spirituality..

There is nothing wrong with being labeled different. In fact that's good according to me, because I am in fact different.

People mistrust what is different.
I have some differences that have put me on the out on many occasions and I am not talking about my orientation.
I try to compensate best I can in my personal life and fit in but my so called "disorder" sometimes betrays me.
When people see you as different they often associate that difference with danger. I am one of the most gentile people you would ever meet but I don't always seem that way to people their intuition tells them I am a person to be wary of.
I don't consider my difference a disorder so I don't name it I just compensate and stay aware of it.

Nothing per se' except the fact that the person who is different has to be labeled at all. labels are what causes so much turmoil.

Because people in "power" will use that being different as an excuse to discriminate against you (whether it is legal or not).
