Not sure what part of which country you're in, but wood has become extremely expensive where we are...check into [thru Google as a start] cyclone fencing - the cheapest prefab metal fencing system I know of...and very quickly installed, provided you have the posts set in concrete or driven in deep [depending on your soil type]. Nice thing about cyclone fencing is that it is ideal for encouraging ornamental vines & green shrubbery things to act as both decor and privacy. Of course wood looks the very best--but your area is v. large and the timber merchants would swallow your checkbook alive! Check pricing thru your nearest DIY outlet, or in the yellow pages for 'fencing'.

Fencing costs vary widely depending on the nature of the soil, the terrain, access to neighboring property and the shape of the space.

The fence itself will vary widely depending on material availability and even proximity to the manufacturer.

You, quite literally could be looking at anything from $2.00 per foot upwards of $30 or more per foot for the exact same fence, depending on where you live.

Get estimates from three recommended contractors and start from there. Anyone worth their salt will give you a free estimate.

I went to home depo and got very good advice there. We did our metal fence 1/3 acre for just undet $300. I live in Washington State, wood is spendy here. I did not go chain link, I went a bit cheaper then that and It looks really nice. It would have a lot more if we had not done it ourselves.

i work for a fence company, it would be cheaper to get a chainlink fence (metal) wood would be a bit more. You should call your local fence company and get an estimate.
