He is saying that either way, we will not win. He is saying we will lose the war and be a failure if we withdraw from Iraq and that if we stay, we will be killed off, basically.

Al can say anything he likes...it's called wishful thinking, or in the case of our own 'president' Bush, believing your own propaganda. The overall problem with 'Terror Inc.' is that at the heart of it, it's not a legitimate entity. It is a 'movment' of sorts, but it's a movement with dozens, if not hundreds of factions. Compare it to organized crime during Prohibition. Certainly there was a criminal movement, but the factions, besides fighting the law also fought each other. Each gang attempted to dominate, and while some did for a brief period nobody stayed on top for long. Only the 'law' stayed organized and in the end the law managed to either eliminate or contain the various criminal mafias. Realistically, these violent people by nature can't get along...we see that every day in Iraq. Given time, they will turn on each other and their goal will be lost in the infighting. As they fight each other, the wheels of justice will continue to grind. Mr. Zawahiri will eventually find that out.

Rove we will not bleed to death because we will if staying put more an emphasis on pushing harder against the insurgents but the first line is what we have taught them for 30 years that we will desert the fight and they can do what ever they want. That has been their mission since day one of the efforts against our embassies, the Cole, and 9-11, to show other Islamics that America is a paper tiger who can be beaten any time since their people and leaders have no resolve for a long fight necessary to defeat any enemy.

He’s saying that the Iraq situation is a win-win for Al Qaeda. Unfortunately, we can’t go back and correct the original mistake.

Our staying in Iraq is good for Al Qaeda because it continues to aid their worldwide recruitment and it makes us look weak as the violence continues. If we leave Iraq, Al Qaeda would declare victory. Al Qaeda’s continued presence in Iraq, however, would look as if it is only assisting Muslims in killing other Muslims.

No matter what we do at this point Al Qaeda has already gained more than it could have on its own if we hadn’t gone into Iraq.

Al Zawahiri will say and do what ever it takes to get the Americas to leave Iraq. It is very sad, if anyone actually believes the things he says.

I think Al Zawahiri is a fool who is just trying to scare us and is going to get what's coming to him.

What do you expect him to say? Admit that we're going to win and he's going to lose? You've got to just ignore propoganda from the enemy.

To address it specifically, if we withdraw we'll lose something, but not everything. And if we stay we might lose a few thousand more people, but we have hundreds of millions, so we'll still be ok.

Well we've been there for a while and have bled to death, so I am not sure =\

But if he attempted to attack the USA, I doubt he would be successful..

Unless bottle rockets can fly from Iraq/Afganistan-->US

I think it's typical of the bloodthirsty moon god cult known as Islam. They're good for nothing but explosions and beheadings. And their religion was founded by a mass-murdering pedophile.
