I have dwarf platy fish. They are turning white around the stomach.?

Is this a disease of some sort. They usually are fine and than start staying at bottom of tank . Before long they die. When I get them ,their color is reddish orange all over.

That could be the results of an internal infection or a skin infection. Try feeding them with medicated food for a few weeks and see if that clears up the problem. If not, try also treating the tank with tetracycline.
