You need a regular exercise plan that takes you through each and every month. Not easy fix solution if you want to use exercise as a method of pain relief.

Never exercise while you are having a period pain! You will die of the pain!!! Exercise regularly but calm down with the exercise just for the 3 days leading up to your period. Once you are over the worst, you can start exercising again. I don't really thing that exercising regularly helps with period pains but it certainly keeps you fit and your heart healthy. Consider more effective ways of getting rid of period pains such as the pill, or if you need it (like I did) surgery and/or some treatment. Good luck!

Gentle exercise like walking for 10 mins when you have it but exercising before shows benefits as the cramps arent as bad :)

They mean a consistent exercise plan.....meaning you exercise at least 3-4 times weekly....every week.

exercise is never a bad thing, but if you go for a brisk walk whilst your experiencing the pain then that is supposed to ease it.

regular exercise. (Remember you can do everything with a period that you would do when you didn't have it)
