You could download a sound driver from google.

Find out which sound driver you need. Going to google and searching for this driver will be a snap. Say you had the driver Realtek 97A for example. Go to http://google.com and type in the following without brackets: ["Realtek 97A" "sound drivers"]

You should be set to go! How you find out your driver that you had is either by contacting your manufacturer or looking at the model of your computer.
