My assumption of revenge I find in these two quotes;

"There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness." J.Billings

"In taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but passing it over, he is superior."-Sir Francis Bacon

My dad always said, "Don't stoop to their level!" How true!

I have to be honest here. Sometimes it is but usually its only a temporary feeling....USUALLY. Its been times where Ive done something to get back at someone & I feel GREAT afterwards & that was that. But sometimes you can get back at someone & it comes back on you & you end up feeling bad or making the situation worse. It depends on what that person did to you & the severity of the situation. Think about the 'sweet revenge' before you begin to put it into action. Think about whether its really worth it, if it will really make you feel better or worse in the long run before you do it. If you can handle the consequences either way then go for it----just dont land yourself in the hospital or prison! :-)

Alot of times you come to find that you can get over the situation without getting even with someone though, honestly.

Yes getting even is a sweet revenge,but it will be a waste of time if this person is not worth it. If this person hurt you don't let yourself consume by that mistakes,you'll just become like that person..

Nope, revenge is infantile and immature. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Living well is truly the best revenge. So enjoy your life and be happy. It will infuriate your enemies and bring joy to those who love you.

No - it is not worth your time and energy. Usually it all comes back to the other person anyway and you didn't have to lift a finger or waste your time to do it! it is even sweeter then.
