DOn;t ask my opinion, I wasn't at the trial. BUT THOSE WHO WERE FOUND HIM GUILTY. And he was sentenced. Not by me, or the 'dems' or the 'libs' or the 'clinton's. By the judicial system. I guess it is OK to ignore the LAW when you don;t agree with it? Also, lame answer

Although technically within his prerogative to do so, it was politically a bad idea to pardon Libby. The rancor quintupled here overnight; I can only presume that the same thing happened in Washington, as well.
I strongly suspect that bin Laden is already dead. His health was already poor and he has been on the run for years.
If he is still alive, then his followers have managed to smuggle him to a different part of the world where he is living out his final days in relative comfort. Possibly Indonesia, which has a large Muslim population.

Four years ago Bush strutted around saying that he was not going to tolerate this from anyone in his Administration and that whoever it is would pay dearly. Yeah right, incompetence, another lie, birds of a feather? What exactly is it with Bush and his Administration where they say one thing and do something else.
Aren't these the same guys that wanted to throw the book at Clinton when first investigating a failed real estate venture turned triste with a bimbo who lied to some folks about the bimbo? They were sure ready willing and able to lower the boom on Slick Willy but on Scooter, well the boy was just.. you know how it is....? Hypocracy AGAIN from neocons and Bush.

Libby committed no crime. Yeah, he was 'convicted', but there was no evidence of any wrong doing. Further, during the trial it was proven that he had nothing to do with Valerie 'I am too a spy!' Plame. So what was he convicted of, Really?Contrast that with Clinton who, as a sitting president, committed a felony and never even lost a day at the office. And then, as he was leaving office, pardoned all sorts of interesting individuals, including a convicted child molester. Then come and talk to me about tough on crime.
What makes you think that the hunt for bin laden has been 'disbanded'? Just because you're not given a progress report every night? Just because the president doesn't share his plans and approach with the press any more so that they can inform our enemies of what we're doing?
HICHE: The press broadcasts all of our plans and all of our troop movements. They broadcast all of our security measures, where and what they are. If you want to know where not to go and what not to do to get caught, watch any news show. Knowing this and knowing the nature of the media in America, don't you think it's possible that the press was used to spread disinformation to our enemies? Now don't get upset and don't be offended. Don't be squealing that 'Bush lied'. Disinformation and misinformation has been used in war for centuries. The only difference here is that the information that our enemies get is from OUR press. Bottom line, don't believe everything you read in the press. Hopefully, Osama has fallen for this as far as you did and he will get careless. Otherwise, he's going to be very hard to find. But don't you worry. We're looking for Osama. He's a dead man walking.

disbanded hunt for bin laden- you must not have a concept or a clue to how many CIA or FBI - along with the brigades which are continually collecting evidence of where he is at. I guess since CNN does not mention this then it must not be happening.
I read the the ENTIRE Ny times article you had the link to- you must've have stopped reading after the word disbanded. cause it clearly states taht the members of that team would reassigned to the ENTIRE counter terrorism unit - to more effective counter terrorism and still have more than enought resources to CONTINUE search for osama.
here is a part of YOUR source:
"The efforts to find Osama bin Laden are as strong as ever," said Jennifer Millerwise Dyck, a C.I.A. spokeswoman. "This is an agile agency, and the decision was made to ensure greater reach and focus."
Please if your gonna try and knock down my logic you better have your reasearch straight

Yeah the Bush system of justice at it's finest. I guess it's a good thing he hasn't caught Bin Laden, the moron would probably get confused and award him with a medal of freedom or something.
